Kei'Trel Clark Scouting Report

"Anticipation, ball skills, top tier athleticism and plays with a chip. Clark's one of the more slept on guys in this deep class and he'll play way above his draft slot so long as he stays out the training room."

Strengths:

Fiery, twitched up corner with top tier anticipation and ball skills. Clicks & closes in a blink and aggressively attacks the ball. Effectively tactile across the route and can run with most guys.

Shows quick footwork and possesses necessary loose hips in man. Good ball skills and is a playmaker on the ball. Passionate player and an identity setter for a defense.

In his 2021 breakout year Clark started out the NC State game fairly rough..

After that he responded like this ...

Weaknesses:

Small and can be bullied at the catch point and off the line. Suffered an ACL that ended his 2021 season and appeared a bit more hesitant in 22'.

Overall:

Clark's a monster competitor that can elevate his play to match the moment. He carries adept anticipation and ball skills along with top tier athleticism. He punches over his weight but his lack of length and size shows up.

He suffered an ACL that ended a breakout season in 2021 and while he returned this past year and played well, he appeared a bit more hesitant. A year removed from injury he could end up a draft steal if lasts until the mid rounds.

NFL Comp: Denzel Ward
