Kaiir Elam Scouting Report

"Quietly a near prototype CB prospect. Long levered, a bully, and can mirror match. Downside is that he's more quick then fast and needs to clear his med checks."

Strengths:

Big athletic corner that attacks the catch point. Tall but loose hipped and can mirror match. Stand out ball skills. Attacks run support like a safety. Solid awareness and equally adept playing off or man up.

Weaknesses:

Tested well but is a more quick than fast guy. Tackling technique is sloppy. Nagging knee injury caused him to miss games in 21'.

Overall:

Elam's quietly a near prototype CB prospect. He employs length, size, quickness and impressive technique. He can be an intimidating presence at the los in press or when flying up in run support and relishes opportunities to bully his opponents.

Among his few weaknesses are a lack of great speed and, in reality, his med check from the in season knee sprain. He's got a habit of letting explosive guys out the gate in 1 on 1 situations, whether man up or in open space.
