Strengths:
Giant sized and loose hipped with good ball skills. Changes direction well with some suddenness out of his breaks.
Solid route runner. Gathers up balls and boxes out well in traffic. Deceptively quick and has some yac ability.
Weaknesses:
Gets his ass handed to him as a blocker and can be a liability. Pedestrian speed and more quick than fast. Tested like an offensive lineman at his pro day.
Overall:
Wydermyer's a big target with long arms that is a deceptively good athlete despite his 40 time. He lumbers around but changes pace well and can change direction quickly. Ball skills are a plus and he's a sound route runner.
As adept as he is as a receiver, he can be an embarrassment as a blocker and needs coaching and better effort. He's regularly whipped inline, bullied by defenders and doesn't offer much in space either.
