Strengths:
Long armed receiver with a high gear at the top of his route. Lulls DBs off the line before changing pace. Physical and can win contested catches. Angry, capable blocker. Effective route runner that gears down quickly.
Brown ate up guys on downfield routes but he's also a physical guy for his size.
Weaknesses:
Lacks great quickness off the line. Deceptive speed more than pure speed. Suffers concentration drops.
Overall:
Brown put on a clinic in 2020 as a go route receiver. He's got good pace, strength and build up speed through his route. Effectively uses his long arms and upper body strength to snatch in traffic... but his hands betray him occasionally.
He's an asset as a run blocker and uses that physicality on his releases. That said, he's not especially explosive or quick off the snap and savvy corners can hang with his speed.
