Brian Robinson Jr Scouting Report

"Versatile power runner with quick feet and a high motor, that finally had a shot at being Bama's primary back in 2021"

Strengths:

Good sized, versatile back with burst. Can push a pile and run through contact. Quick feet for his size and has solid vision. Shows patience and can turn it up through the hole.

Good, reliable hands. Adequate in pass pro with decent experience. Flashes the ability to carry an offense.

Weaknesses:

High pad level offers a big target and isn't overly elusive. Platooned over his career and suffered nagging lower leg injuries once he became the primary carrier.

Overall:

Bided his time and finally got a shot as the primary ball carrier as a senior. Has a similar skill set to teammate Najee Harris but isn't as elusive.

He's a power runner with quick feet that can move the pile and become tough to tackle in the open field but also offers a solid skill set as a receiver. He's a high motor runner but suffered wear and tear with an increased workload and durability is a potential issue.
