A.J. Terrell Scouting Report

"How you draw up a press corner with his length, athletic ability and aggressiveness. But if he doesn't win early he's generally losing"

Strengths:

Good sized corner with ideal athletic ability, length and aggressiveness. Challenges in press man and can run with most anyone. Flashes quick hands at the los. Gets tactile in press and can disrupt patterns. Willing, aggressive tackler in run support.

Weaknesses:

Regularly losses at the top of the route and allows separation. Gets easily boxed out and bumped around by physical receivers.

Gets egregiously tactile across the route and will draw fouls. Can struggle to track the ball and gets lost at the catch point. Willing tackler but doesn't wrap up with sound technique.

Overall:

Terrell is how you draw up a press corner with his length, athletic ability and aggressiveness. But if he doesn't win early he's generally losing. He's aggressive but lacks sand and gets bodied by more physical players.

He's fluid but tends to play a little high cut and struggles to click/close and change direction rapidly. He flashes quick hands in press but the rest doesn't always sync up.
