College Week 5 Standouts

RB Bryce Love, Stanford

Love continues to put the Cardinal team on his back. 301 yds against the Sun Devils. And he's not just doing it with long runs. Love is showing impressive toughness and physicality to go along with his explosiveness. He helped grind out the win last Sat late in the 4th with runs like this.

OT Isaiah Wynn, Georgia

Wynn helped mash the Vols last Sat and showed up in the run game and as a pass protector. Run blocking is his strong suit but he displayed solid feet and awareness protecting the edge.

OT Drew Coleman, Tennessee

The RS Soph did good job on the left side against a good pass rushing team that had their ears back. He'll need to improve his strength and can get overpowered at the point but he's shown next level athleticism and solid technique. Unlikely to declare this draft but he's one to keep an eye on in the future.

Lowlights

OLB/DE Marquis Haynes, Ole Miss

Haynes is probably my most disappointing defensive player thus far this season. He's previously shown impressive core strength and an explosive up field rush. But so far this season he's shown virtually none of that. He was a complete non factor vs the Tide this week and, so far, looks like he's fallen to an UDFA.
