College Week 14 Standouts

QB Kelly Bryant, Clemson

The junior QB has progressed a lot this season, taking up the mantle from Watson, and he had probably the best game of his career in the ACC championship. He completed 79.3 % going for 252 and totaled 2TDs. A dangerous runner, it's his precision as a passer that's making strides this year.

OT Mitch Hyatt, Clemson

Hyatt isn't mentioned much but he just puts out workmanlike performance after performance. Solid feet and good technique show up every Saturday. I thought he was good vs a talented Miami line on Saturday and helped Bryant have a career day.

CB Nick Nelson, Wisconsin

I haven't really looked at Nelson this season so the Big 10 championship was my first look at him. I was impressed. He's a big CB with great speed. Stays disciplined and baits the QB knowing he can recover. Adequate tackler but doesn't punish like his size suggests. Rumors are he could declare and I think he could very well be the 2nd or 3rd CB off the board.
