College Week 8 Standouts

OT Mason Cole, Michigan Cole has successfully made the transition back to OT this season from OC. He's just as mean on the outside as inside and he shows the technique, quickness, and strength to play there at the next level. His versatility and dominance is going to make him an especially coveted OL come April. RB Darius Guice, LSU Guice finally showed this season why he actually looked better than teammate Fournette last year. Slowed by nagging injuries all season he erupted for 276yds against Ole Miss. Guice reminds me a lot of Ahmad Bradshaw. OLB/DE Marcus Davenport, UTSA Davenport's a riser and has just been too much for Conference USA lineman. He's explosive, uses good leverage and is

College Week 7 Standouts

RB Damien Harris, Alabama Harris has earned the top spot in a talented Bama backfield. He keeps demonstrating he's a game breaker, along with the power and vision that was expected. It's always hard to gauge Bama RBs behind that line but Harris appears like the real deal. RG Tyler Mitchell, Kansas St The Wildcats got thumped by TCU but I thought RG Mitchell had a great game. Nothing spectacular but he steady re-accommodates in the run game and doesn't give much at all in pass protection. Here marches back the DT on a pass rush. Only a RS Soph but he's one to keep an eye on. DT Renell Wren, Arizona St Wren shares time inside and on the nose but I was impressed with his consistent initial push

College Week 6 Standouts

WR Braxton Berrios, Miami Berrios has been a tough cover this season as a receiver and returner. Last Saturday he ignited the Hurricanes over the rival Seminoles with 8 catches for 90yds and 2TD's. He added 38yds on two returns including a game breaking 30 yarder. He's quick and physical as a route runner, creating separation with subtle and not so subtle contact, and shown aggressive hands attacking the ball in the air. WR Anthony Miller, Memphis Miller was essentially used like a RB vs the Huskies, catching bubble after bubble and racking up yac yards for 15 catches and 224yds. Despite his 5'10 frame he was uncoverable in the red zone and caught 4TD's. While his production is inflated in t

College Week 5 Standouts

RB Bryce Love, Stanford Love continues to put the Cardinal team on his back. 301 yds against the Sun Devils. And he's not just doing it with long runs. Love is showing impressive toughness and physicality to go along with his explosiveness. He helped grind out the win last Sat late in the 4th with runs like this. OT Isaiah Wynn, Georgia Wynn helped mash the Vols last Sat and showed up in the run game and as a pass protector. Run blocking is his strong suit but he displayed solid feet and awareness protecting the edge. OT Drew Coleman, Tennessee The RS Soph did good job on the left side against a good pass rushing team that had their ears back. He'll need to improve his strength and can get o
